We love Infection Preventionists! Celebrating IIPW 2020
Infection prevention is more relevant more than ever during this year's COVID-19 global pandemic. Together with APIC and as always, we are celebrating between the 18-24 of October the International Infection Prevention week (IIPW), which under the theme "We Love IPs", honours the hardworking infection preventionists (IPs) who are keeping our communities safe.
We Love Our IPsCOVID-19 has shown the world a truth we've always known—infection preventionists (IPs) are essential to keeping our communities safe. In addition to all the usual suspects (healthcare-associated infections, the resurgence in measles outbreaks, flu season, etc.), the infection prevention and control community is simultaneously battling a global pandemic for the foreseeable future. Let's make sure we recognize our IPs during International Infection Prevention Week this year. Do your part - celebrate our IPs! |
